Member information
When signing up for a membership at DGI Byen, a member must provide their name, address, date of birth, email address, phone number and payment information. It is the responsibility of the member to ensure that DGI Byen has correct information at all times. Access to personal information is available through DGI Byen's online booking system (Halbooking).
Access
Access to Vandkulturhuset, Træningshuset and/or Saunahuset requires a membership wristband, which must be scanned upon both entry and exit.
A membership wristband can be purchased at CPH Sport & Swim for 50 DKK.
If a wristband is lost or damaged, members can receive a new one for a fee of 50 DKK.
Memberships
Memberships are personal and may only be used by the designated member. Misuse of membership and/or the membership wristband will incur a fee according to the current rate.
Memberships are renewed automatically each month until they are canceled.
The membership fee is charged automatically on the 1st of each month.
When a membership is created, the member pays for the current month plus the next month. Subsequent payments are handled via automatic card withdrawal.
Children: Valid for children aged 2 through 15.
Members must present valid documentation upon request by DGI Byen.
Failure to provide documentation will result in the membership fee increasing to DGI Byen's standard rate without further notice.
A child membership will automatically convert to an adult membership when the child turns 16, and the membership fee will increase to the standard rate without further notice.
Children (individuals under 15) are not permitted access to Træningshuset.
Students: Valid for individuals who can provide valid student ID/documentation.
Members must present valid documentation upon request by DGI Byen. Failure to provide documentation will result in the membership fee increasing to DGI Byen's standard rate without further notice.
Seniors: Valid for individuals aged 65 or older or those holding a pensioner’s card.
Members must present valid documentation upon request by DGI Byen. Failure to provide documentation will result in the membership fee increasing to DGI Byen's standard rate without further notice.
For individuals under 18 or those who are legally incapacitated, a membership can only be created if a parent/guardian registers on behalf of the individual, with the parent/guardian responsible for all DGI Byen claims related to the membership.
Membership hold
Memberships can be put on hold for a minimum of 1 week and a maximum of 1 month at a time. The fee is 50 DKK per hold period.
This must be done by the member online via DGI Byen's booking system (Halbooking). A confirmation of the hold period will be sent to the email address registered on the membership profile.
The hold period can start as early as the following day and must begin within 1 month. If the membership is put on hold after the 5th of the month, when the monthly charge is issued, the member will still be charged for the following month’s membership, and this charge will be offset once the hold period ends.
It is not possible to put a membership on hold during a cancellation period. If a membership is on hold and a cancellation is submitted, the hold period will automatically end.
Cancellation
A membership may be canceled at any time with notice of the current month plus one month. Members must cancel their memberships themselves via DGI Byen's online booking system (Halbooking).
A cancellation confirmation will be sent to the email address registered on the member’s profile. In case of a dispute, the member must be able to prove the cancellation by presenting this confirmation.
Bookings
If a member is unable to attend a booking, they must cancel it at least 2 hours before the start time via DGI Byen’s online booking system (Halbooking).
If a member does not cancel a booking on time or fails to attend, they will be charged a fee according to the current rate.
Late/Missed payments
If payment for a membership and/or other services is not made on time, the member will receive a reminder notice and be charged a late fee of 100 DKK per notice (effective February 2024).
Changes to Membership Terms
DGI Byen reserves the right to make changes to prices, opening hours, fees, etc.
Members will be notified of changes via email and by notice posted in DGI Byen. If a member did not provide an email address upon registration, they will not receive direct notification.
Any adjustment will be communicated with a notice of the current month plus one month, the same notice period as for canceling the membership.
Opening hours and closing days
There may be closed days and changes to opening hours in connection with maintenance, major events, etc.

The current house rules and instructions from DGI Byen staff must always be followed. Violation may result in expulsion.
DGI Byen reserves the right to terminate any membership agreement without notice. In cases where DGI Byen terminates an agreement, any unused prepaid fees will be refunded. If DGI Byen terminates a membership agreement due to the member’s serious breach of the membership terms or house rules, no refund will be issued. Serious breaches include, but are not limited to, doping, lending membership wristbands, racist or derogatory remarks, threats, and violent behavior.
